Why You Need To Watch 'The Office' and 'Parks And Rec'

Image
The Best TV Shows of All Time (aka TV shows that I really really really enjoyed and you will too if you have even little good taste) Episode 1; The Office Since the summer is just beginning, at least for me, and I have to at least try to do something productive with myself I decided why not try to actually do something about creating awareness about some tv shows that I watch and none of my friends have ever bothered to watch since they think that it probably isn't worth it. And I know you guys are busy and have a lot of work, but if you do end up having an especially bad week or just need to relax for 22 minutes a day, some of these tv shows can give you that. Either that or you could just binge all of them in a single day (which isn't really possible for shows like 'The Office' since it has 9 seasons, but still) I pretty much binged on most of these shows and I still love them. So it is your call. I am also planning to do something other than just listing ...

Shazam (2019)

Image
Shazam Review  After much consideration whether I should descend from my Marvel tower over to DC's Extended Universe, I decided to give Shazam a go. Fun Fact, this is the first ever DC film that I have watched in theater, the rest of DCEU that I have watched is only from the streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Netflix. The State Of The DCEU The DC films aren't really regarded as top cinema, most people like to hate on DC since it is easier to do so compared to Marvel but not us (props if you got that reference). The previous DC film, which was James Wan's Aquaman, starring the always hot Jason Mamoa, was alright. I didn't especially consider it to be a very good film, definitely not as good as James Wan's previous works, but then again he can't be blamed for the horrible dialog and script that was provided. Aquaman was one too many odd song choices and script away from being a pretty good comeback for the struggling DC universe (atleast crit...

Thoughts On Movies 1: The Upcoming Avengers Endgame & Spiderman

Image
Thoughts On Movies Episode 1;  Marvel's AVENGERS ENDGAME  4:59 pm Friday 29/03/2019 So, We are less than half a month away from watching the Avenger's Endgame, probably everyone's most anticipated movie of 2019 is almost here, I mean I can almost touch it we're that close, and I haven't really talked to many people about what I felt about how Avengers Infinity War ended with the defeat of our heroes and most of them getting dusted away. I mean when I was gonna watch it, I already knew that some of the heroes were gonna die and Thanos was gonna win, but despite having the movie spoiled for me, when it finally happened, it was a total gut punch. I mean, I did not see that coming at all.  But then again, this was supposed to be part 1 of the culmination of almost 20 years of work, so nothing less should've been expected. It was sad but not enough that I would cry, but seeing Marvel subvert expectations was a good chance of Pace. Way better than...

Dear School

A Letter to My Old Classmates Dear School I know these things sounds like a cliché, but I think there are several things you and I have to discuss. The school years have come to an end. Obviously this end was a long way coming and as it proceeded to come my mind became more and more unapologetic about it. More and more in denial, trying to stretch out every single moment to a maximum hoping that somehow it would all last forever but as you can see, it didn’t last forever. There was a point when we met, A point when we came together and got to know each other, a point where we lived epic, a point where we were infinite, and now here’s the point where the judgment day stands in front of us. As much as I thought of pushing it and running away from it and believing that there was more time, it didn’t matter. Because it came eventually and as I stand here today, I realize there is no time left. There will be no other moment like this as much as I want; there won’t be one more day a...

My Most Favorite Movies Part 1 (As a Teen) Hello there! People of the internet, and all of the people who came here because of me forcing you guys to click on the link of my instagram, twitter, and whatsapp.  So now that everyone's exams are coming to an end and people are pretty much done with reminiscing over school days, I thought, "Hey, why not make a list of movies that I have watched and loved, especially teen flicks" I know you could get much more better and professional lists of "Best Teen Movies Of All Time ",but what you will not get there is me. These movies are not in order as I love them too much to have them compete between one another as which is superior.  So once you are done reading this whole post, you can just comment how many of these films you have seen and also if you haven't seen any, just plan a good weekend, get some popcorn and tea if that's your thing, and binge watch all of them. With That being said, I present t...

Get Out (2017)

Get Out (2017) Hello there! people of the internet, since I have my Hindi Exam next and I work great under extreme pressure and anxiety, I decided to rewatch 2017’s Jordan Peele’s directorial debut “Get Out”. I feel like there should have been an exclamation point at the end of the movie’s title, but that would’ve been too wonky for a movie masquerading under the genre of a horror Comedy. Since Jordan Peele’s upcoming Horror “US(2019)” Gave me a lot of anticipation and I would not be able to review it until it comes to Blue ray, I decided to review Get out again. This movie has won several Oscars and nominated for quite a few awards so I believe, It has already been praised to death . So Instead of doing a review, I’d like to just instead do a more of Discussion, since I am no Movie Critique per say as much as I’d like to consider myself one. I am more of a fan and don’t like to believe that I need to over analyze every single little detail in even cheap masala movies. So wh...

Captain Marvel (2019)

Image
Captain Marvel Review Disclaimer: I know this movie has a whole feminist message and I acknowledge it right here. I know that, I saw it and I’m okay with it. I am not however okay with people saying that white men should stop reviewing movies. That being said, let us talk about the newest entry in Marvel’s ever expanding cinematic universe. Captain Marvel, which released yesterday on the occasion of Women’s day faced a lot of criticism from the your average Marvel viewer, Why? 2 reasons; 1.        This is the first female led Marvel movie (Elektra doesn’t count) and it is not about Black Widow or Wanda, it is instead about this new character that is supposed to be the savior in the upcoming endgame movie. 2.        Brie Larson and her comments regarding white males getting more chances to watch and review movies compared to people of colour. Now I don’t exactly understand this hate as much because, I me...
